Devon Trip Camp site

the August bank holiday camp site has been reserved. This year we have moved six miles away from Woolacome bay at the site called Tarka Holiday park in Barnstaple,
The site is cheaper and has more facilities. Have a look www.tarkaholidaypark.co.uk
we will have our own field and wash block near by.
If you wish to go Phill will need names and numbers with a £50.00 deposit per pitch by the 24th June or you could book your self after this date .

Sports Fest

Thanks to all that helped out with the St Ives sports fest. I think it is fair to say that we were the most popular stand there and did a good job of raising the clubs profile. Thanks to Phil for organising the stand, and for feeding us in the evening (and Caroline!). Thanks to Tom and Steve for providing on water entertainment. Roy, Alex, Izzy, Helen and Simon for talking to intereseted people and getting people out on the water

Saturday 11th July.

Thanks to all those that helped with our river clean up. We removed a good haul of trolleys, bikes and other rubbish - eventually running out of space in the open boats to carry everything. I will try to post the photos later (if any turned out OK!)

news: Youth Freestyle and Nene WW trip

Tom and Steven are competing in the National Youth Freestyle competition at Holme Pierrepont this weekend (7/09/08). They both had an impressive introduction to the series at Northampton earlier this year. Tom finished a very creditable 5th and Steven will hope to be up there in his new boat this time around.

Next Wednesday (10/09/08) the club is at the Nene White Water centre 7-9pm so there is no club night at Hinchingbrooke. Pictures to follow!!!

Changes to Nottingham White Water Course
